Process art courses for adults

Ever wanted to explore the art materials your children use at Art Club?

Now it’s your turn! This course is designed for adults who want to try different art techniques and explore process art.

Join us for our first Art Through Process course, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore, create, and discover the joy of process art in a like-minded, supportive group.

Whether you're a beginner or returning to a creative practice you’ve missed, I invite you to immerse yourself in the journey of art-making. Over three sessions, we’ll explore printmaking, experiment with textures, colours, and techniques, and engage in playful experiments designed to spark your imagination.

Week 1

Dive into the basics of printmaking, explore different techniques and materials to create textured, layered art. We will explore screen-printing and gelli printing as part of this session.

Week 2

Take creativity on the road! We will meet at Lago Algo, Chapultepec, for a morning of art and culture, with a sketching and painting session in this inspiring location.

Week 3

Bring your creativity back to the studio! We’ll continue to explore the process, building on the inspiration from Lago Algo. Using the prints and sketches made during our outdoor session, we’ll dive deeper into layering techniques, experiment with new materials, and let the creative journey unfold. While we’ll celebrate the work produced, the focus remains on enjoying the process and embracing the joy of experimentation.

No experience required - just a willingness to get your hands messy and explore the creative process! All materials and refreshments will be provided during each session.

This course is designed to give you the space and encouragement to rediscover the joy of making art for the sake of making art, without the pressure of perfection. You’ll leave with a deeper connection to your creative practice and the confidence to continue experimenting on your own.
