Art Camp is a drop-off day camp:
Preparing for a seamless and enjoyable camp experience begins well before the first day at Art Camp. We take pride in providing a warm welcome for our campers and their families. To help everyone settle in, we send out a detailed Social Story and Camp Guide via email before the camp starts, offering a glimpse into the exciting activities and routines. Additionally, we extend an invitation for campers to visit our studio ahead of time, fostering familiarity and comfort. On the first day, parents are welcome to stay for the initial 15 minutes after drop-off, ensuring a smooth transition for both campers and families. We also manage a Whatsapp group, where we will share photos and highlights with you throughout the week. At Art Camp, we prioritise creating a supportive environment where every camper feels at home from the very beginning.

Art Camp is taught in both English and Spanish, and is a welcoming space for bilingual/bicultural kids, campers who want to practice speaking Spanish while visiting the city, and for Spanish-speaking campers who want to practice speaking English. Our camp counsellors are native English and native Spanish speakers. Both languages are spoken throughout the day.

What to bring: Please send your child with a snack, lunch and water bottle. We are a nut free studio.

What to wear: At Art Camp, we use paint, glue, clay, slime and other messy materials. We provide aprons to campers, but please send your child wearing clothes that can get messy.

Additional activities: On Thursday, we order a pizza lunch for the campers, and celebrate the week with an Art Show for families and friends at the end of class (2:30pm).

COVID-19 Precautions: Masking is optional at Art Club for all (including students and their families and staff). If you prefer to wear a mask, please continue to do so. If your child shows signs of any sickness, please keep them at home to not spread to the other campers or staff.
